While both of our new releases failed to take over the top spot at the box office (as predicted by 31% of you, and yours truly), that doesn't mean we shouldn't talk ALL about them today.
To catch you up: Madagascar 3 once again reigned supreme at the weekend box office, taking in $35.5 million.
Prometheus followed with $20.2 million, proving folks are still hungry for the Alien prequel, and we didn't get to a new release until the third spot, with Rock of Ages karaoking its way to $15.1 million.
Meanwhile, the R-rating looks to have hurt the reliable Adam Sandler, as That's My Boy just barely coughed up a foul-mouthed $13 million.
