Darren Aronofsky feels comfortable lingering in the world of historic personages for the time being — the director may follow up his biblical epic “Noah” with a unique spin on America’s number one president, George Washington.
Considering he’s already comparing the storyline to Clint Eastwood’s “Unforgiven,” it’s safe to assume this not going to be your typical paint-by-numbers-biopic.
Ashley Judd is really on fire lately.
Last week we reported on her essay directed at the media’s unhealthy obsession with women’s faces and bodies.
This week the actress (and a bunch of others) turned up in a Funny or Die video riffing on Rick Santorum’s decision to terminate his presidential campaign.
Now that I mention it, her sister Wynonna turned up as a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” recently.
Perhaps the Judds are undergoing a sort of renaissance? Or it could just be due to some kind of astrological phenomenon.

So far all the news about the long-awaited Ender’s Game adaptation is good news.
A few production photos have surfaced — no real surprises here, and that’s a GOOD thing.
Also, since when was Viola Davis attached to this film? Apparently they’ve written a special role just for her.
That’s the kind of surprise we can always live with.
