The first weekend of August finds three new flicks hitting theaters.
There’s a sci-fi remake that doesn’t feel at all like the original, Total Recall, a romantic comedy that is unlike any rom-com in recent memory -- Celeste and Jesse Forever -- and an iconic children’s series welcomes its third flick incarnation with Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.
Total Recall: Colin Farrell swings into action in director Les Wiseman’s vision of the classic short story.
Gone are visions of Mars and campiness and in its place is a riveting, fast-passed thriller that is sure to please fans of Philip K.
Dick’s prose.
