Happy birthday Bette Midler! The Divine Miss M has been lighting up the big screen and signing her way through flicks since her big flick breakthrough in The Rose back in 1979, which also snagged her her first Oscar nomination.

Still going strong at the young age of 67, Midler will be popping onto Cineplex screens this holiday season in Parental Guidance alongside funnyman Billy Crystal.

Midler and Crystal play couple Diane and Artie who are tasked with looking after their three grandkids when daughter Alice (Marisa Tomei) and her husband Phil (Tom Everett Scott) are away on business.

Cultures clash and hilarity ensues when the laid-back retro parenting style of Diane and Artie clashes with the uptight type-A personality parenting of Alice and Phil.

Can’t wait to see Midler and Crystal play off each other in this family comedy.
