Jason Bateman reveals first set picAs a picture from on-set, it's not what you might call revealing, but what it represents is huge.
"First day.
Away we go..." tweeted Jason Bateman, and posted a behind-the-scenes image from the new Arrested Development.
The Bluths are officially back!
Arrested Development, for those sadly not in the know, is the story of a wealthy family who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together.
That one son was Jason Bateman, and the extended Bluth family was made up of Will Arnett, Michael Cera, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia De Rossi, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale and Jessica Walter.
Cancelled after a paltry three seasons, it was one of those holy-grail TV shows both for its fans and creative team, who all hung on to the hope that it would one day be resurrected.
And here it is! The original plan this time last year was that the episodes would lead into a flick (the flick was announced first).
Whether that's still on the cards remains unclear, but we've come this far...
Ten episodes are being filmed, possibly each focusing on a single character.
All of them are currently set to arrive simultaneously on Netflix in early 2013.
