Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike doesn't unveil itself until this Friday, but there's already a nice buzz surrounding the stripper tale featuring Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, and Matt Bomer.

That extends to the Broadway stage as well, according to a report from THR.

Apparently Magic Mike screenwriter Reid Carolin — who also co-produced with star Tatum — sees the all-male revue as a musical, which is already in the works. The scribe pitched the stage version as "more of a romp, more of a fun night out at a club," with a different story.
