Even without any major openings, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted held well and claimed the top spot at the overseas box office for the second-straight weekend.

The animated three-quel added $53 million from 43 territories for a new total of $157 million.

Its top market was Russia with $9.2 million, and it fell a light 27 percent to $6.2 million in France.

It also grossed $5.2 million in Mexico, $3.9 million in Brazil, $2.6 million in Argentina and $2.2 million in South Korea.
