In the new flick "Jeff, Who Lives at Home," the title character (played by Jason Segel), really, really loves the flick "Signs." So who better to pop in on a screening of M.
Night Shyamalan's cosmic classic than the cast of "Jeff?" Segel, Ed Helms and co-directors Mark and Jay Duplass will help "interrupt" a sold-out March 19 screening of "Signs" at LA's Cinefamily Theater.
Segel told Moviefone that he loves "Signs" just as much as Jeff does and the Duplass Brothers are also big fans.
Helms admitted he's yet to see the alien invasion movie, which means -- if "Signs" had an audience participation component, a la "Rocky Horror Picture Show" -- he might get pelted with tin foil hats. The "Jeff" crew will join regular host Doug Benson, who frequently stages MST3K-style narrations of flicks as he and guests "chill on the front row couches, mics in hand, and say whatever hilarious thing pops into their heads while a flick of their choosing unfolds on the screen." Past guests include comedians Sarah Silverman and Zack Galifianakis.
"Unfortunately, no tickets are left for the March 19th 'Signs' Interruption, as it sold out within 24 hours of its announcement on our website," Cinefamily's Bret Berg told Moviefone.
Benson will next stage a "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" interruption on March 26.
