Due out in theaters in 2014 -- and currently in production in Iceland and New York -- Darren Aronofsky is wasting no time in showing the world a little piece of his upcoming behemoth of a film, based on the classic tale of Noah and his ark.
Noah stars Russell Crowe as Noah, and the gist of the original story is there -- in that he's a man who's told to build a great vessel to house animals and his family in order to save them from a natural disaster heading their way -- but there's a whole lot more to Aronofsky's version, including some pretty wild fantasy elements, featuring giant monsters that were teased as part of the graphic novel series created to help sell the film.
