A new behind-the-scenes featurette for Dredd comes to us courtesy of Yahoo! Movies UK.

The Pete Travis-directed (Vantage Point), Alex Garland-scripted (Sunshine, Never Let Me Go) thriller stars Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby.

I'll admit the footage presented here looks stronger than anything else I've seen from the film, but Dredd still feels just a step away from straight-to-DVD mediocrity.

Will it be? We'll find out next month when it releases in theaters (September 9th in the UK, September 21st in the US).
