For the past three years, since the purchase of Marvel by Disney, fans have been wondering if we'll ever see our favorite comic books head to the big screen in some sort of animated form.
Pixar has always been the first place to go for these kind of discussions, but it sounds like Disney is developing their first animated comic book adaptation without the computer animation giant.
Blue Sky Disney (via ComingSoon) and On the Grid have both independently reported that Disney is planning an animated adaptation of Big Hero 6 with Winnie the Pooh director Don Hall at the helm with an eye for a theatrical release sometime in 2014.
