Based on early figures, the sky could be the limit for Sam Mendes’ Skyfall.
Though it doesn’t open in the U.S. until Friday, Nov. 9, the 23rd James Bond adventure already has earned a massive $287 million in international markets, racing toward the $417M earned overseas by the last Bond thriller, Quantum of Solace.
Based on early buzz (and overwhelmingly positive reviews), pundits already are starting to wonder if Skyfall coud be the highest-grossing 007 flick of all time.
That would fit in line with the pattern.
