Tony Gilroy's The Bourne Legacy has been moved back one week to August 10.

This makes a lot of sense for Universal, since now it will not be going head-to-head with Len Wiseman's Total Recall remake.

The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20, and will also likely be dominating the box office for that third week.

Bourne Legacy will now be released on the same weekend at the Will Ferrell-Zach Galifianakis political comedy The Campaign and Meryl Streep, Steve Carell and Tommy Lee Jones in the adult-oriented Hope Springs.

Deadline is also reporting that there are some last minute reshoots in Vancouver.

This is supposedly not the reason for the date change.

It can be common for a flick to have last minute reshoots to help bolster the flicks story.

Dan Bradley, second unit director, will oversee the two days of shooting.

He is also the stunt coordinator, and oversaw reshoots on The Bourne Ultimatum.

These slight changes make complete sense to me.

Either way I will be seeing Bourne Legacy and Total Recall in theaters this summer.

What flicks are you looking forward to seeing the most this summer?
