With Joss Whedon confirmed to write and direct The Avengers 2, Marvel and Disney have now set the release date for May 1, 2015.
But that's so far awaaaay!!!!!! What do we do til then?????
Oh, we can watch Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and maybe even the Ant-Man movie.
With at least two Marvel flicks in 2013 and 2014 each, fans should be able to quell their superhero craving until The Avengers 2 hits theaters.
The Avengers has earned nearly $1.5 billion worldwide to date, making it the third biggest flick ever.
In three years, with inflation and the ever-growing popularity of superhero flicks, there's no telling how much The Avengers sequel will make.
