Yesterday evening, the Alamo Drafthouse tweeted that there would be a special announcement arriving Friday morning.

Lo and behold, that announcement is a 70mm Film Series at the Alamo Ritz, beginning August 24. The flick series includes classic flicks like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Ghostbusters and West Side Story mixed with lesser known flicks like Play Time and Baraka.

Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master will also screen in September in the format the director intended his flick to be seen in.
